Steve Smith

Steve Smith is currently the Vice President of Engineering, Science, and Analysis at BAE Systems, Inc. They previously held significant leadership roles at the National Reconnaissance Office, where they served as Chief of the Satellite Systems Division and Director of Ground Systems Engineering. Smith also commanded the 2d Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base and led operations at various other military installations. They earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech and a MS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, along with advanced studies in National Security at the Air War College.
