Steven Vanek

Steven Vanek is an experienced engineering and manufacturing leader with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at BAE Systems, Inc. since February 2024, Steven previously held the same position at Ball Aerospace from April 2021 to February 2024. Prior to these roles, Steven was a Plant Director at GKN Automotive and a Value Stream Manager at GKN Driveline. Steven's career began at Eaton Corporation, where responsibilities included Manufacturing Manager and Plant Manager roles. With a degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University, Steven has managed significant product lines focusing on employee safety, customer quality, and plant profitability, overseeing 84 direct and indirect reports, as well as generating over $40 million in annual sales.
