Travis Dean graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a BS in Computer Engineering and an MS in Computer Science in March 2011. They began their career at BAE Systems, Inc. as a Software Engineer from 2014 to 2018, focusing on cybersecurity requirements, SAST scanning, and penetration testing. Currently, Travis serves as a Cyber Security Architect at BAE Systems, where they continue to engage in the same cybersecurity activities. Additionally, Travis is a member of a rotational leadership development program in engineering and is studying for OSCP and CEH certifications. Prior to their professional roles, they served as the President of the Association for Computing Machinery - Cal Poly Chapter, organizing events and networking within the industry.
