Tyler Thomas is currently a Staff Consultant and Chief Engineer for the Spacecraft Bus Product Line at BAE Systems, Inc., where Tyler also served as the Principal Systems Engineer and GNC Lead. Previously, Tyler held multiple positions at Raytheon from 2015 to 2017, including Senior Systems Engineer II focusing on algorithm development and Airborne Algorithms Team Lead. Tyler's early experience includes roles as a Course Assistant and Systems and Controls Lead for unmanned submersible vehicle projects during their time at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where Tyler earned both a BS and MS. Additionally, Tyler served as a Principal Systems Engineer at Ball Aerospace, leading GNC subsystems for spacecraft bus programs from 2021 to 2024.
