Peter Bohlen has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Peter started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in January 2011 and worked until September 2011. Peter then joined Wake Forest Baptist Health as a Lab Tech II from June 2011 to December 2011, where they conducted research on the auditory pathway and developed computer programs and tools to streamline data analysis.

In 2012, Peter joined Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a Research Assistant. Peter gained extensive practical knowledge of macaque behavior and developed training techniques and devices to increase training productivity and efficiency for rhesus and bonnet macaques. Peter also designed and altered multiple devices for various purposes such as sterile surgeries, chronic implants, noise filtering, and neural recordings equipment.

In 2014, Peter joined North Carolina State University as a Masters Student and completed their degree in August 2016. Peter then joined Baebies in September 2016 as an Engineer II. Peter worked in this role until October 2021 before transitioning to the position of Senior Engineer in September 2021, where they currently work.

Peter Bohlen completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2006 to 2010. Peter then pursued further education and obtained a degree in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Rehabilitation Engineering from North Carolina State University, spanning from 2014 to 2016.
