Sushant Rao

Sushant Rao has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of marketing and product management. Sushant is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Baffle, Inc. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Marketing at Prophecy in 2022. From 2018 to 2022, Sushant worked as the Senior Director of Product Marketing at Cloudera, where they were responsible for product messaging, competitive positioning, and overall Go-to-Market strategy. Sushant also worked at DataCore Software as the Senior Director of Product & Solutions Marketing from 2014 to 2018, leading a global team and spearheading key initiatives such as developing messaging and training materials, launching products in the cloud marketplace, and revamping the company's website. In their previous roles, Sushant held positions such as Director of Product, Solution & Alliance Marketing at PernixData, Director of Product Marketing at Virsto Software, and Director of Product Management at HyTrust. Sushant also worked at Fortify Software and VMware in various product management roles. Sushant's experience includes market segmentation, solution selling, competitive analysis, pricing, developing sales collateral, and supporting pre/post sales activities.
