Douglas Hare is a seasoned entrepreneur and industry leader with extensive experience in the entertainment software sector. As the Founder and CEO of Outplay Entertainment Ltd since September 2010, Hare has been instrumental in developing innovative mobile and social gaming experiences. Hare has also contributed to the industry as a member of BAFTA since November 2017, highlighting strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities. Engagement on the Steering Board of InGAME from February 2019 to July 2023 facilitated advancements in product and service innovation within the Dundee games cluster. Additionally, participation on the Industrial Advisory Board at the University of Dundee from January 2011 to May 2017 ensured that computing education remained aligned with industry needs. Prior experience includes co-founding Foundation 9 Entertainment, where Hare played a key role in establishing one of the world's largest independent video game developers.
