Timothy Hughes

Timothy Hughes is currently the Head of Membership at BAFTA, where they have held various positions including Membership and Awards Coordinator and Membership Manager since 2017. Prior to joining BAFTA, they worked as an Administrative Receptionist at Royal Holloway, University of London, and as a Membership Assistant at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Timothy has also contributed as a Visiting Teacher in the Department of Media Arts at Royal Holloway, leading courses in Critical Theory and Textual Analysis, among others. They hold a Master’s Degree in Film Studies from King's College London and a Ph.D. in Media Arts from Royal Holloway, where they are also pursuing a degree in Film and Television Studies.
