Averia Wright

Averia Wright is currently the Curatorial Manager at The Current at Baha Mar, where they oversee exhibition planning and delivery. With a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Sculpture and Expanded Practice from Ohio University and a Certificate of Museum Studies, they possess a strong foundation in fine art practices. Previously, Averia held positions as Assistant Curator and Registrar at The National Art Gallery of The Bahamas and Curatorial Assistant at the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas, among other roles. Their expertise lies in coordinating exhibition schedules and installations, with a focus on diverse representations of histories and identities.
