Mark Sheehan

Mark Sheehan is the Director-at-Large at BAI. Mark previously worked as the Senior Vice President, Head of Online, Mobile & Strategic Development at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from January 2002 to December 2009. In this role, they led online customer acquisition, managed the Chase.com platform, and expanded mobile banking functionality while evaluating and forging strategic partnerships to further enhance digital capabilities. Mark was also responsible for the post-merger integration of Washington Mutual’s online consumer banking and business banking platforms with Chase’s existing platforms following the $1.9B acquisition of Washington Mutual. Mark also pioneered some of the industry’s first digital services such as Chase Mobile Deposit (check deposit via smartphone) and Chase Quick Pay (person-to-person payment).

Prior to their work at JPMorgan Chase & Co., Mark served as the SVP, Head of Strategic Development at Bank One from January 2001 to December 2004.

Mark Sheehan has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware and a Minor in Management Information Systems from the same school.
