Our Mission: To democratise the strategic value of data and promote digital sovereignty in the Iberian Peninsula.

BAIDATA is the leading association connecting the business, technology and public ecosystems of Spain and Portugal to spearhead the Data Economy.

We translate technological complexity into tangible business opportunities. We focus on enabling secure and sovereign data sharing, with a special emphasis on:

> Data Spaces: Promoting interoperability (IDSA) to create sectoral and cross-sectoral value.

> Digital Twin: Promoting key standards such as the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) in Industry 4.0, logistics and healthcare.

> AI Governance and Strategy: Helping organisations navigate the regulatory framework (Data Act, AI Act) for robust and ethical AI.

We articulate our impact through four strategic axes:

1. KNOWLEDGE: We generate and share practical insights through our “Data in Action” webinars and key international partnerships (we are the IDSA and IDTA hub in Iberia).

2. TALENT: We create the next generation of data leaders. Our qualification programme, the Data Space Professional Qualification Programme (DS-PQP), is a pioneer in training experts in Data Spaces.

3. ECOSYSTEM: We are the meeting point. We connect companies (large and SMEs), public administration and academia to generate projects with real impact.

4. INNOVATION: We help our partners pilot, implement and scale use cases, transforming data into a competitive asset.
