Hao Chen

Hao CHEN is the Director of Government Affairs at Baidu, Inc. since May 2018, where responsibilities include facilitating connections between Baidu and government entities, while advocating for supportive policies related to AI advancements such as autonomous driving and industrial internet platforms. Prior to Baidu, Hao served as President of Beijing Guoao Golden Laurel Sports, overseeing operations in the sports industry from September 2015 to May 2018. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Chinaso.com and jike.com, focusing on marketing, public relations, and government liaison. Notably, as Protocol Manager during the 29th Olympic Games, Hao provided protocol services to numerous global dignitaries. Educational credentials encompass an MA in Mass Communications from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
