Simon Bao

Simon Bao is an experienced professional in the optical and audiology sectors, currently serving as the Director of Dispensing at Bailey Nelson since November 2021. Previously, Simon held the position of Retail Performance Manager for NSW/ACT and was a joint venture partner and talent acquisition specialist at Oscar Wylee from June 2020 to November 2021. Simon's earlier career includes significant roles at Specsavers, serving as a dispensing partner, practice manager, and optician for nearly a decade. Additional experience includes working as an audiology apprentice at Bay Audio Australia and various positions at Optical Center, where Simon was an optician, lab manager, and involved in eye testing. Simon holds a Graduate Certificate in Management from Victoria University and a BTS in Optician-Lunetier from l’Institut Supérieur Optique.
