Ken Ashida

Ken Ashida joined Bain Capital in 2025. He is a Co-Chairman of Japan Private Equity and a member of the Asia Pacific Private Equity Team.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Ken was an Executive Managing Director and Deputy President of Mizuho Bank. Over the course of his career at Mizuho Bank, he was stationed in Europe, led strategic initiatives for large corporate clients, and was deeply involved in the structuring of leveraged buyouts (LBO's), establish himself as a leading expert in the field.
