Darryn Lowe

Darryn Lowe is a partner at Bain & Company, based in the Toronto office since joining in 2009, with previous experience in the Sydney, San Francisco, and Palo Alto offices. Prior to Bain, Darryn worked at the University of Wollongong as a tenured lecturer in telecommunications, where contributions included founding the Wireless Technologies Lab, winning an ARC Discovery Grant, publishing over 20 peer-reviewed papers, and serving as a representative at IEEE standards meetings. Earlier experience includes a role as a research engineer at Motorola, focusing on wireless technologies, and as a systems analyst at Willow Computer Services, where a consultancy for technology in education was established. Darryn holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, a PhD and Master's in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Wollongong, and a Bachelor's with honors in Computer Systems Engineering from James Cook University.
