David Crawford

David Crawford is a partner in Bain & Company's Silicon Valley office, serving as the Chairman of the Global Technology Practice. With over 24 years of consulting experience, they are an active contributor to the Strategy and Private Equity practices, advising clients in industries such as telecommunications, computing, and manufacturing. David has a strong background in orchestrating company-wide transformations and brings a shareholder mindset from their private equity experience. Prior to Bain, they worked as a research engineer at Exxon Production Research. David holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Masters in Computational Mechanics from Stanford University, along with two bachelor's degrees from Rice University, graduating summa cum laude.
