Michael Nelson

Michael Nelson, PhD, is an Associate Partner at Bain & Company, where a career has spanned from 2019 to the present, including roles as Senior Manager, Manager, and Consultant. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Roy Lab at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University from 2013 to 2019, and an ADvantage Intern at Bain & Company in 2018. Earlier academic involvement includes research positions at the University of Arizona as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Cordes Lab and as an Undergraduate Research Intern at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 2012. Michael Nelson holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics, Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona.
