Stephen York

Stephen York is the Managing Partner of Bain South Africa and a member of the Private Equity and ENR practices, based in Johannesburg. They have broad experience in corporate and business unit strategy development, performance improvement, customer experience strategy, and organizational design, with a focus on the Mining and Oil & Gas sectors. Their recent work includes commercial due diligence efforts across EMEA and transformation initiatives for major coal mining and Oil & Gas companies in South Africa. Prior to joining Bain in 2010, Stephen served as a consultant at Burlington Strategy Advisors from 2007 to 2010. They hold a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town.
