Tarique Benbow

Tarique Benbow, PhD, currently serves as a Consultant at Bain & Company since September 2022, after completing a brief stint as an ADvantage Intern at the same firm in May 2022. Prior to this, Tarique held the position of Senior Scientist at Amgen from December 2021 to May 2022. Academic experience includes a PhD candidacy and role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia from September 2018 to May 2022. Additionally, Tarique was President and Board Member of the Student Biotechnology Network and served as Director of Corporate Strategy during that time. Earlier, Tarique worked as Company Pharmacist in Pharma Manufacturing, Marketing, and Product Development at P.A. Benjamin Manufacturing Company Limited between February 2016 and August 2018. Tarique earned a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The University of British Columbia (2018-2022) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Technology, Jamaica (2010-2014).
