Willy Chang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both consulting and research. Currently serving as a Partner at Bain & Company since August 2014, Willy has held various leadership roles, advancing from Consultant to Associate Partner. Prior to this, Willy was a Guest Researcher at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, where significant contributions included pioneering research on semiconductor/superconductor materials and achieving the first observation of the 'hard superconducting gap' in InAs nanowires, resulting in a first-author publication in Nature. Willy also held a Research Fellow position at Harvard University with a focus on low-temperature systems and completed research at Columbia University that led to groundbreaking findings on graphene. Willy's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from Harvard University and a B.A. in Physics from Columbia University.
