Colin Backert

Colin Backert, CPFA®, is a Financial Advisor at Baird since July 2022, previously serving as a Financial Advisor in Training. Prior to this role, Colin Backert had an extensive career in the United States Air Force from May 2014 to August 2022, where responsibilities included Associate Professor of Aerospace Studies and Operations Flight Commander at AFROTC Detachment 295, as well as various senior management positions focusing on intelligence and operations training. Colin Backert holds a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Kentucky, complemented by a high school diploma from Saint Xavier High School.
