Frederick Robertson is an independent consultant that has been providing his expert advice to Baird Capital since 2011. He works with our Healthcare team, providing strategic advice to the General Partner, assists with our evaluation of investment opportunities and works with our team to build value within the existing portfolio. In addition, in select situations, Frederick may be engaged directly by portfolio companies in Board roles and/or as a direct consultant to those companies.

Robertson recently retired as Chief Executive Officer and Director of TomoTherapy Inc. Prior to joining TomoTherapy, Frederick served in a variety of roles in the medical field including assistant professor of anesthesiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, president and Chief Executive Officer of GE Marquette Medical Systems, and later as Chief Clinical Officer of GE Medical Systems. He also previously held management positions with Marquette Medical Systems, including president and Chief Executive Officer. He received his MBA from San Diego State University and earned his M.D. from University of Wisconsin Medical School. He serves on the University of Wisconsin Foundation Board of Directors, the Morgridge Institute for Research Board of Trustees, the Lantheus Holdings Board of Directors, the Zurex Pharma Board of Directors and the Alpha Source, Inc. Board of Directors.
