John Baracy

John Baracy is a seasoned finance professional with over 25 years of experience specializing in K-14 school districts, particularly in underwriting general obligation bonds and other financing vehicles. They began their career as an Intern/Analyst at Peacock Hislop Staley Given from 1994 to 1999, later progressing to roles at Piper Jaffray and RBC Capital Markets, where they served as an Analyst and Vice President, respectively. From 2007 to 2018, they held the position of Managing Director at Stifel Financial Corp., followed by a similar role at Raymond James until 2024. Currently, they continue to work as Managing Director at Baird, while also pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Finance at Arizona State University.
