John Neis

John Neis is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in principal investing and capital management. Currently serving as Principal at Baird Principal Group since August 2012, John oversees the firm’s principal investing activities, including co-investments with private equity firms globally. John has also held significant positions as Principal at Baldwin Road Capital since July 2009 and as Managing Director at Lakemark Partners from January 2010 to August 2012, focusing on investments in small and mid-size operating companies in business and consumer services. Previous roles include Principal in the Buyout Group at American Capital, Principal at Baird Capital Partners, Associate at Robert W. Baird, and Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen. John holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BSBA in Finance and Accountancy from Miami University.
