Dean Blackman, MBA, is an experienced investment professional and entrepreneur dedicated to social impact investing. As the Founder and Principal of Forenoon Ventures, LLC since September 2018, Dean focuses on supporting underserved communities through investment strategies. In addition, Dean serves as an Investor Panelist, Advisor, and Speaker for the BAJ Accelerator, working alongside major institutions such as the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce and Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute. At the Queens Economic Development Corporation, Dean contributes as an Instructor and Judge for the Annual StartUP! Business Plan Competition. With previous roles including Investment Associate at the Church Pension Group and Investment Manager positions at Wachovia and Morgan Stanley, Dean has extensive expertise in private equity, real estate, and hedge funds, particularly in socially responsible investments. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from Yale School of Management and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
