Matt van Note

Matt Van Note has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy and client services sectors. Matt currently works at Baker Electric as a Renewables Preconstruction Manager since January 2022. Previously, they served as a Senior Commercial Solar Consultant at Baker Electric from March 2014 to December 2021.

Before joining Baker Electric, Matt worked at Bombard Renewable Energy as a Project Developer from April 2009 to February 2014. During their time there, they played a key role in developing over 40 MW of successful PV projects, including leading RFP responses for commercial and utility-scale solar projects. Matt also developed PV systems for non-profit organizations in Nevada and coordinated the winning RFP response for a 26.2 MW solar PV plant at the Stillwater NV Geothermal Power Plant.

Matt started their career at Progressive Home, where they held the role of Director of Client Services from March 2003 to March 2009.

Matt Van Note attended Parkland College from 1996 to 1998, where they earned an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Political Science and Government.
