Sofia Faraci

Sofia Faraci is a Robotics and Automation Engineer with extensive experience in software engineering and robotics. They have worked as a Robotics Software Engineer at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, focusing on Humanoid Sensing and Perception, and as a Software Engineer for Underwater Defense Systems at Capgemini Engineering from 2021 to 2024. Currently, they serve as Lead Control Software Engineer at Baker Hughes. Sofia holds a Laurea triennale in Ingegneria dell'Informazione and a Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Robotica e dell'Automazione, both from the Università di Pisa, where they graduated with honors.
