Stuart Walker is currently a Lead System Engineer for Subsea Controls at Baker Hughes, where they provide technical guidance and develop world-class control systems for various global projects. Previously, they worked as a Specialist Principal Engineer Controls and Umbilical at Universal Pegasus from 2001 to 2018, gaining extensive experience in subsea design, development, and testing of control systems. Stuart has been seconded to various clients, including CNR and Petro Canada, working in roles that involved supervising and specifying topside and subsea control systems across multiple projects. They have also served as an expert witness for Clyde & Co, providing expertise on defective subsea control equipment in a significant claim. Stuart is pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Electronic Design and Technology from the University of East Anglia.
