Christopher Boyer, CPA, CISSP, CISA, serves as the Manager of Governance, Risk & Compliance at Baker McKenzie, where responsibilities include developing and managing compliance audit programs for international offices and global technology teams while coordinating onsite audits for highly regulated clients. Previous roles include Manager of Information Security at American Express, where monitoring control effectiveness and expediting audits were key focuses, and Compliance Manager at Accertify, Inc., where an ISO 27001:2005 certified Information Security Management System was implemented. Additional experience spans two decades at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, encompassing various roles that established strong foundations in IT controls, compliance management, and security audits. Christopher holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Accounting and Finance from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
