David Hackett

David Hackett is a Partner at Baker & McKenzie, where they advise senior management, legal departments, and boards of major corporations and nonprofits on compliance, risk, environmental, and sustainability matters. They have significant experience managing U.S. and international compliance and environmental projects, as well as litigating major civil and criminal environmental matters. Following their time as a Trial Attorney with the Environmental Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, David has played a pivotal role in establishing the Firm's compliance, environmental, climate, and ESG practices. In addition to their work at Baker & McKenzie, they are actively involved in multiple nonprofit boards and advise various civic and nonprofit organizations worldwide. David continues to engage with ESG issues, providing expertise on programs, risk assessments, and governance matters for diverse industries.
