Luis E. Dates

Luis E. Dates is a partner at Baker McKenzie in Buenos Aires, where they lead the Dispute Resolution and Public Law practice groups. With extensive experience in advising national and foreign companies on civil, commercial, public, and administrative law issues, Luis has represented clients in complex litigation and both domestic and international arbitration. They have developed preventive programs for conflict management and regularly consult on risk mitigation strategies. Luis has also served as a mediator and arbitrator, authored multiple legal publications, and taught at the School of Law of the University of Buenos Aires. They hold a Doctor of Law degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires and a Master of Laws in Administrative Law from Universidad Austral.
