Bret Rutter

Bret Rutter is a Principal at Baker Tilly US and has been with Moss Adams LLP since 1996, where they currently serve as an Assurance Partner in the National Office - Professional Practice Group. In this role, they oversee the firm's national accounting and auditing practices, ensure compliance with professional standards, and provide technical training to Assurance professionals. Bret spent 8 years in the Seattle practice office focusing on audits of large privately held clients in construction, real estate, and manufacturing. Additionally, Bret is a member of the CFMA Emerging Issues Committee and has contributed to the AICPA's Audit & Accounting Guide for Construction Contractors. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Washington University in 1995.
