Carson Grater, CPA, currently serves as a Research & Development Tax Manager at Baker Tilly US following the merger of Moss Adams and Baker Tilly in June 2025. Prior to this role, Carson held the same position at Moss Adams from January 2019 to June 2025, where responsibilities included providing career coaching to staff, identifying client opportunities, and leading engagements across various industries. Carson began the career journey at Moss Adams as a Research & Development Tax Intern in 2016, progressively advancing through staff and senior roles while gaining experience in client data analysis and relationship management. Additionally, Carson completed an accounting internship at Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington and a marketing internship with the University of Washington Intercollegiate Athletics. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Taxation and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Education from the UW Foster School of Business.
