John Romano

John Romano is an experienced executive leader with a robust background in internal audit, finance, and client advisory services. Currently serving as a Principal at Baker Tilly US since February 2008, John oversees internal audit engagements for insurance entities and financial institutions, providing strategic insights to executives and Audit Committees. Prior roles include internal audit positions at Genesis Healthcare, where John's responsibilities encompassed conducting financial and operational audits and training new auditors. Previous experience also includes roles as an Investment Accountant II at PNC Financial Services Group, where John managed significant mutual fund assets, and as a Financial Advisor at American Express Financial Advisors, where recognition was achieved for outstanding client acquisition and services.
