Sterling Smith

Sterling Smith is an accomplished finance and business consulting professional with extensive experience in private equity and technology investment banking. Currently serving as Director of Private Equity at Baker Tilly US since June 2025, Sterling previously held similar positions at Moss Adams and led Kletos Consulting LLC as Founder and CEO, where services were offered to lower middle market enterprises. Additional experience includes Managing Director roles at Founders Advisors, LLC and various senior positions at ACAP Health Consulting, Cura Wellness, Stephens, and Houlihan Lokey, with a focus on M&A advisory and strategic business development. Sterling holds an MBA, a Master’s Degree in Taxation, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, all from The University of Texas at Austin.
