Ashley Cooper is the managing shareholder of Baker Donelson’s Charleston office, where their practice focuses on the energy industry and emerging energy technologies. Prior to this role, they served as a partner at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP, leading the Charleston office and chairing the firm’s Energy Industry Team. With experience representing companies before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and state utility commissions, Ashley also brings an in-house perspective from their time as chief compliance officer at a Fortune 500 energy company. Ashley is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law degree at the University of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor's degree from Clemson University.
