Marcus Maples

Marcus Maples is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in business litigation. Currently serving as Shareholder and Vice Chair of the Business Litigation Group at Baker Donelson since August 2016, Marcus has also held the position of President at the Birmingham Bar Association from December 2022 to December 2023. Prior to their role at Baker Donelson, Marcus was a Shareholder and Litigation Associate at Sirote & Permutt, P.C. from August 2007 to August 2016 and served as a Litigation Associate at Eyster Key Tubb Roth Middleton & Adams,LLP from August 2006 to July 2007. Academically, Marcus earned a Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama between 2003 and 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Alabama from 1998 to 2002.
