Susan Mathews

Susan Mathews is currently Of Counsel at Baker Donelson, where they focus on financial services and real estate, handling commercial real estate transactions, workouts, foreclosures, corporate matters, and litigation. Previously, they served as Of Counsel at Porter & Hedges, L.P., and as Partner at Adams and Reese LLP, specializing in corporate transactions and bankruptcy. Susan began their legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert B. Maloney and later worked as Associate Counsel at Weingarten Realty. They earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Law from St. Mary's University School of Law, both with honors.
