About Alan Bec From adversity to social innovation


Alan worked as a highly successful University Lecturer in Human Development, an IOD Executive Coach and a Training provider for Oxfam UK before contracting Chronic Fatigue Syndrome In 2011. 

This life-changing disease impaired his ability to walk, talk and work. One day, he had an idea that significantly improved his recovery and could transform millions of people's mental health & wellbeing. 

His WIB idea won recognition from the NHS, The West of England Academic Health Science Network (WEAHSN), Medilink South West, the Office for Life Sciences, and the Department of International Trade (DTI).
