Sports Massage | Remedial Massage Derby
Sports Massage is not just for athletes but is for all people who prefer a deeper massage. It will benefit everyone. We specialise in deep tissue massage, muscle energy techniques (MET). Our aim is to reduce or remove any aches, pains and strains that you may have. A Remedial Massage is great at releasing tension in muscles and helps to relieve chronic pain.

There will be a thorough case history taken prior to your first treatment.

Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is a relaxing massage that is based on the ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years. This massage is performed with the client seated and will focus on the head, neck and shoulders.

Reiki
The word reiki means ‘universal life force energy’ in Japanese. Reiki is based on the premise that illness is caused by a disruption in the body’s energy field or life force. By using specially designed symbols and channelling energy through the hands, it is believed that the body can be filled with positive energy causing the disease-making negative energy to disappear. This treatment is performed with the client fully clothed on a massage couch.

Ear Candling (Hopi Candles)
Ear Candling (Thermo-Auricular Therapy) - refers to an ancient, non-invasive complementary therapy designed to help treat conditions associated with the ear, nose and throat.

It is a technique that involves placing a hollow, cone-shaped tube (or Hopi Candles) made of cotton, soaked in beeswax, honey and herbs into the ear canal in order to stimulate the ear and facilitate the removal of excess wax and impurities.
