Deepak Kumar

Deepak Kumar has been working in the tech industry since 2014. Deepak began their career as a Trainee at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. In 2016, they joined Wipro Limited as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed a WhatsApp-inspired UI for comments feature for every item in a table and achieved a 50% improvement in report generation time by using multi-threading celery solution. Deepak also worked as an Azure Developer, connecting on-prem server with Azure SQL DB to stream real-time data for processing and storing using Azure Event Hubs and Azure Functions. Additionally, they tested backend performance for REST API endpoints using Postman and JMeter, as well as Quality assurance for microservice performance for Wellcat, Wellplan, EDM and CasingWear. In 2021, they moved to Xebia as a Software Development Consultant and is currently at Balbix as a Senior Software Engineer.

Deepak Kumar completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Petroleum Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad between 2012 and 2016. Deepak then obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science from International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore in 2019. In addition, they have obtained five certifications from Coursera between April and October of 2019, including Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow, Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow, Sequences, Time Series and Prediction, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
