Shawn Thomas

Shawn Thomas is a seasoned professional in environmental health and safety (EHS) with extensive experience spanning multiple industries. Currently serving as the Global Director of Environment Health Safety at Balchem Corporation since April 2021, Shawn previously held the position of EHS Manager for the Americas at DeLaval and directed the Corporate Health, Safety, and Security department at Stepan Company, where leadership included the development of global HS&S programs. Additional roles at Stepan Company and UOP involved significant contributions to process safety, compliance, and crisis management, with earlier career beginnings as a Process Safety Coordinator at Clark Refining and Marketing and a Loss Prevention Consultant at M&M PC. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University and a certificate in Waste Management from Wayne State University.
