Jim Hamlin

Volunteer Event Organizer

Jim Hamlin is an experienced professional with a diverse background in social work and photography. Currently, Jim serves as a Volunteer Event Organizer for the St. Baldrick's Foundation since March 2007, coordinating an annual head shaving event. Simultaneously, Jim has been involved with the American Red Cross as a Disaster Mental Health Volunteer and practices as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As the owner and photographer at Jim Hamlin Photography since May 2008, Jim specializes in event, action sports, art, and commercial photography. Previous roles include Adult Inpatient Program Director at Colorado West Psychiatric Hospital and Deputy Director at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Jim's foundational experience in social work was gained at the Colorado Mental Health Institute at Ft. Logan and Central State Hospital. Jim holds a Master of Social Work from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgia College & State University.
