Dane Eagle is currently a Partner at Ballard Partners. Previously, they served as Florida’s Secretary of Economic Opportunity from 2020 to 2022, where they worked to advance the state's economic development vision under Governor Ron DeSantis. Dane also represented the 77th District in the Florida House of Representatives from 2012 to 2020, rising to the position of Majority Leader, focusing on supporting families and small businesses. Prior to their legislative career, Dane was Deputy Chief of Staff in the Executive Office of the Governor from 2008 to 2009 and has two decades of experience in commercial real estate. Dane earned a BA in Economics from the University of Florida and continues their education at Florida Gulf Coast University.
