Sylvie Bernard

Sylvie Bernard has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Sylvie most recently served as the Group Controlling Director at Balmain since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Retail Controlling and Consolidation Manager at CELINE from March 2020 to December 2020. Before that, they held several roles at ESCADA, including Senior Expert Global Business Controlling, Senior Management Control Director - EMEA, and Management Control Director for various regions. Additionally, they worked at Louis Vuitton Malletier as the Group Business Controller for Watches, Sunglasses & Accessories, and Jewelry & Sunglasses. Earlier in their career, they worked at DIM as an International Financial Controller and Consolidation trainee, and at Roche as a Costs Controller in the International Research department. Sylvie Bernard's expertise lies in financial controlling, consolidation, management control, and operational control.

Sylvie Bernard began their education in 1992 at Lycée Sainte Ursule, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sciences. Sylvie continued their studies at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL from 1992 to 1996, obtaining a Master 1 degree in Management Science (ex MSG) with a stronger focus on Finance and Controlling. Sylvie then pursued further education at the same university from 1997 to 1998, completing a Master 2 #202 (ex DESS) degree in Controlling, Governance, and Strategy.
