Balqees Welfare Foundation (BWF) was set up by Mr & Mrs. Akhtar for the public benefit and the relief of those in need - either by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or any other disadvantage in Pakistan. Supertouch (Private) Ltd – Pakistan and Allied International Trading Ltd – UK are the two main corporate donors to our charity.

Balqees Welfare Foundation, United Kingdom and Pakistan has three trustees each and the Pakistan foundation employs two staff.

Balqees Welfare foundation feeds the unwell and disadvantaged, supports the education and care of young people and helps people deal with the effects of poverty in Pakistan. We undertake this by creating and distributing food parcels to charitable healthcare organisations and needy individuals as well as providing grants to charitable organisations in education, shelter and healthcare.
