Mark Jackson

Mark Jackson serves as the Chief Executive Officer at The Baltic Exchange since February 2017. Prior to this role, he was the Director at AM Nomikos for 18 years until January 2017. He has also held various leadership positions in companies such as Brown Jenkinson (Chartering) Ltd, where he was a Director, and E A Gibson Shipbrokers Ltd, where he worked as a Senior Chartering Broker. Mark's career in the maritime industry spans over three decades, starting as a Dry Cargo Trainee at Scottish Ship Management PTE Ltd in 1981. He holds a background in education from Peter Symonds College and Eastbourne College.
