Robert Bock, PhD, is an experienced project manager and researcher currently employed at the Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung since March 2021. Bock previously served as a postdoctoral research fellow at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) from August 2014 to February 2021, where responsibilities included establishing a new lab focused on renewable energy and energy storage research. Earlier roles include a consultant at DNV GL from January 2012 to July 2014 and completing a diploma thesis in fuel cell research at Volkswagen in 2011. Bock holds a Ph.D. in Energy Storage and Renewable Energies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, obtained between 2014 and 2018, and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Physical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin, earned from 2003 to 2011.
