Foad Yousef

Foad Yousef, PhD, is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in natural language processing, predictive modeling, and remote sensing. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at BambooHR, Foad has developed a range of advanced machine learning solutions, including LLM prompt optimization and a semantic search engine using SBERT. Prior roles include data scientist positions at KLAS, where Foad created sentiment prediction models and semantic search pipelines, and at Westminster College as an Assistant Professor, focusing on automated remote sensing image processing for water quality analysis. Foad's academic background includes a PhD in Biological Sciences from Michigan Technological University, along with additional studies in satellite remote sensing and natural resources engineering.
