Michael Shim

Michael Shim is an accomplished data engineer with extensive experience across various industries, including education, marketing, and healthcare. Starting as an Information Systems Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University, Michael enhanced learning experiences for over 660 students. Subsequent roles include Digital Marketing Intern at Sky & Space Products, where a 150% increase in website traffic and conversion rates was achieved, and BI/ETL Team Lead Consultant at Eide Bailly Technology, where management of a $500K ARR contract was successfully executed. As a Senior Data Engineer at Benlabs, Michael delivered a $1M contract by creating robust data pipelines and significantly reducing costs. Additional contributions include building scalable data warehouses and optimizing ETL processes at byte® and MasterControl, respectively.
